What is an equation of the line that passes through the point (4, -1) and has
slope -5?
This is what my teacher says to do and i dont know how to solve it. Can anyone help?

Answer:

y + 1 = -5(x - 4)

y + 1 = -5x + 20

y = -5x + 19
